Holy Week

Readers of this site might be interested in knowing what options are available for attending the various liturgies of Holy Week and the Triduum in the Extraordinary Form:

Spy Wednesday - 31 March - Office of Tenebrae

7:00 p.m. - St. Patrick, Wareham
7:30 p.m. - Mary Immaculate of Lourdes, Newton
7:30 p.m. - Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Boston

(I'm not sure whether the Wareham service will be in the traditional form)

Holy Thursday - 1 April - Mass of the Lord's Supper

7:00 p.m. - Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Still River
7:30 p.m. - Mary Immaculate of Lourdes, Newton
7:30 p.m. - Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Boston (lower church)

Fr. Jason Worthley of Sacred Heart Parish will be the celebrant for the Mass at the Cathedral

Good Friday - 2 April - Liturgy of the Presanctified

3:00 p.m. - Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Still River
7:00 p.m. - Holy Name of Jesus, Providence, RI
7:30 p.m. - Mary Immaculate of Lourdes, Newton
7:30 p.m. - Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Boston (lower church)

Holy Saturday - 3 April - Easter Vigil

7:00 p.m. - Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Still River
8:00 p.m. - Mary Immaculate of Lourdes, Newton

(Please note that there is no Easter Vigil in the Extraordinary Form at the Cathedral)

Easter Sunday - 4 April

7:30, 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. - Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel, Still River
7:30 and 11:00 a.m. - Holy Name of Jesus, Providence, RI
11:00 a.m. - Cathedral of the Holy Cross, Boston (lower church)
12:00 noon - Mary Immaculate of Lourdes, Newton
12:30 p.m. - Sacred Heart, Middleborough
1:00 p.m. - St. Francis Xavier, Hyannis
