Thanks to the work of Steve Cavanaugh who prepared the Schola and Leo Higgins who drilled the servers, we had our first Missa Cantata on Sunday 21 February. Everything went very well, and it was wonderful to hear Gregorian Chant at Sacred Heart! The collation after Mass was also very well attended.
For at least March and April there will be a High (sung) Mass on the 3rd Sunday of each month at the regular time, 12:30 p.m. There will be coffee and refreshments afterward, in the parish office, on both Sundays.

Jason Worthley began celebrating the Mass of Blessed John XXIII, designated by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007 as the "Extraordinary Form" of the Roman Rite, at Sacred Heart Parish in Middleborough.
